Kevin & Howlin

t. +353 (0)1 677 0257, www.kevinandhowlin.com,
In 1936 Jim Kevin and his partner Michael
Howlin founded the Tailors and Outfitters,
known as Kevin & Howlin Ltd, in Dublin’s
Nassau Street. The shop provides top quality
clothing and tailoring while specialising in
tweeds hand-woven in Donegal especially
for Kevin & Howlin. In 1973, due to the
redevelopment of the premises, Jim’s son
Noel, who had taken over the family firm,
decided to concentrate exclusively on
tweed, and Kevin & Howlin became one of
the premier purveyors of tweeds in Ireland.
Its selection of stylish tweed attire for men and women includes everything from
jackets, overcoats and suits to hats, scarves and socks. Authentic Irish souvenir hunters
will adore their collection of hand-crafted shillelaghs.
Open: Mon-Sat 10am-5pm. Check ahead for Sunday openings
