Glendalough with St. Kevin's Bus Service

Established 1927, St. Kevin’s Bus Service operates daily services between Dublin and Glendalough. Sit back, relax and enjoy one of the most delightful 50km journeys in Ireland, embracing every kind of mountain, moor, lake and Woodland scenery. Passing through south County Dublin, the route runs between the Dublin mountains and the sea coast, passing through the coastal town of Bray. Soon after leaving Bray the road begins to rise into the Wicklow Mountains, ascending between the Great and Little Sugar Loaf Mountains, through the rugged Rockey Valley affording views of Powerscourt Estate, through Calary plain, past Roundwood Lakes, Annamoe Valley and Laragh Village where the beauty of Glendalough begins to unfold.
Your stay at Glendalough affords you the opportunity to explore some, if not all, the famous Seven Churches where a Monastic settlement grew up around St. Kevin in the 6th century. There are also sign-posted walks of varied ability around the Valley and Lakes of Glendalough which is part of Wicklow Mountains National Park.
Daily yearround Daytrips 11.30am. Adult €20, U14 €12.
