Sol Art Gallery represents and promotes the work of
national and international, emerging and mid-career,
visual artists. The gallery is centrally located on D’Olier
Street which is a 5-minute walk from Trinity College
and Dublin’s main shopping district Grafton St. From
2010-2018 Sol Art held major exhibitions within the
old gallery on Dawson St and appeared at art fairs in
London, New York, Edinburgh, Dublin, Milan, Chicago,
Miami as a well as many more. Early 2015 saw the
emergence of London Irish Art, a multi-disciplinary
initiative, co-hosted by Sol Art, displaying over 40
visual artists in the impressive 3000 square foot space
of Central Hall, Westminster. Over 500 people attended
the opening night. Having now moved to a fantastic
new 3500 Sq ft modern building in March of 2018,
Sol Art intends to continue putting on significant
exhibitions in the gallery while also broadening their
brand.
