of Ireland’s rich and varied cultural heritage. Open: Tue – Sat 10am – 5pm, Sun
2pm – 5pm. Closed Mon, Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Opened in 1857, this unique ‘cabinet-style’
museum houses galleries of animals from across
the globe, many of which are now endangered
or extinct. The lower floor is dedicated to
Irish specimens while the upper floor houses
mammals of the world. Only the ground floor is
wheelchair accessible.
